Is It Possible
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>RoyBoy</b></div><div>Dumb idea, but what if Dunn takes a Labanc type deal?</div></div>
I think that’s super rare. I think Dunn could be anywhere from 3.5-5. Most likely will be on the lower end because of how the team currently utilizes him. Might be a conspiracy theory, but they seem to limit his TOI which decreases production and keep the player he compares to at a lower price.

blues keep petro- 1 CBO
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Blues4TheCup</b></div><div>Why do epople keep Posting Dunn making so little? He is getting at least 5 million considering what Petersson, Andersson and Girard got.</div></div>
1.5mil is stupid low, but I wouldn’t compare him to Petersson. Andersson and Girard are good players to compare Dunn to. Girard is younger, 21 vs Dunn 23 which increases his worth. Andersson is very similar but is signed to six years. Depending on the length of contract I could see him signing between 3.5-5. I would suspect a shorter term and salary, 3.75mil x 2yrs. If they go north of 4 Petro is definitely gone.

Next Year Blues
I don’t think Dunn will fetch too much money this offseason, which will keep his years down. I could see the team resigning Scandella and trading Gunny. They have something good with the Scandella Parayko pairing and they might want to keep that. Gunny has been in and out and if there is a team that needs him, Mikkola can take his spot.

Not Much Will Change
Binnington can stay a RFA if signed for one year. More of a show me contract. Show if he can preform throughout a full season, then sign long term. Matt Murray won two cups and makes 3.75mil. I think he is Binnington’s only comparable.

Eddy Out Nurse In
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BeastModeUnknown</b></div><div>Carolina pretty much already fixed their Goaltending for now until Nedeljkovic comes up. They say no for sure. I don't like the idea of giving up Schenn+ for Nurse (who isn't as good as Eddy is defensively imo) Now I would want to get rid of Edmundson, but it's got to be something a little more than Nurse who comes back to us in another deal or in the same deal. Brian Elliott is terrible now, I would much rather look to bringing up Ville Husso who had a rough year, but I would look to seeing him be ready for the team. Now Dzingel, I don't see coming to St.Louis I would love to swap Schenn out for Dzingel, but that is why I wouldn't give Schenn for Nurse 1 Nurse isn't worth that, and 2 big risk Dzingel doesn't come to St.Louis, but overall I will give you credit on the idea. It's very creative, and it looks realistic at first sight, but when I get down to what players look at I don't see Dzingel coming to St.Louis.</div></div>
You never know where player’s heads are at. If STL looks like a contender again I wouldn’t put it passed some UFAs coming here. Dzingel might not want to come here, but I didn’t sign The Breadman for that reason. Dzingel was below Skinner and Pannarin on the LW UFA list so I went for it. Just a possibility I guess.

Just bored. Tinkering with things seeing what could happen. Wouldn’t be upset with resigning and keeping the team almost the same as it is now.

Petro for a Top 10 1st
Its more for the idea... Who knows where players want to be? McDavid is a player anyone would want to play with and Edmonton has a huge fan base. Not sure if he would do it or not, but I would rather give Parayko the bump to the top pair and use money elsewhere and get a 1st for Petro.

A Little More Realistic
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>BluesGetTheCup</b></div><div>Leafs aren't paying that for Bouw, and they want a RHD. More realistic to have them get Schmaltz or Bortuzzo. If Bouw was traded it's most likely for a 3rd rounder and that's it. Shattenkirk was a legit top 4 young d man. Bouw is not.
Steen trade, maybe. I don't see him waiving for ARZ though.</div></div>
I reduced the Bouw trade. He might get more than a 3rd, because there aren't a lot of top 4 d-men being shopped... If Toronto wanted a bottom pair defensemen, they would have picked up Schmaltz off waivers. That was only a couple weeks ago and the Leafs have needed defense all season. Not sure why they would trade for a player they could have got for nothing days ago.

A Little More Realistic
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>STLBlues17</b></div><div>I still think Pietrangelo and Schenn have a strong shot at being traded. Pietrangelo because trading him begins the culture change and Schenn because he’s got 1 year after this and will he passed on the depth chart by Thomas as soon as the end of this year.</div></div>
They have been moving Schenn out to the wing recently and he has been having success, so he could play alongside Thomas. I think Petro is more of an offseason move, the trade deadline has not been very exciting in the past handful of years so I don't think that will change. Like I said in the description, anything is possible, but these are more common deadline type moves.

I would rather pay Hutton that money than trade for Ells. Brodziak definitely earned a raise over Jaskin. Hopefully there is more turnover than this. Not sure if inserting Thomas and Kyrou is enough.
