I would rather pay Hutton that money than trade for Ells. Brodziak definitely earned a raise over Jaskin. Hopefully there is more turnover than this. Not sure if inserting Thomas and Kyrou is enough.

Fair enough about Hutton, but he had a career year, and hasn't resigned yet. Seems likely he will look for a starting job don't you think?
Also this gives the blues 3 young, fast, skilled players they didn't have last season. All play well in three zones and if they transition well should be between 35-55 point players. If you ask me that's a pretty big boost. Decent depth in that lineup.
