I like the trades, they seem to make sense to me. I think the Wings would have to add a little more to the deal to get both Bear and JP, maybe a late 2nd or 3rd. Callahan deal makes sense. I don't like us taking Podkolzin though, if we move back I would like to see us take Broberg or a non russian forward. Scares me a bit that he is staying in Russia for the next two years.

I also thought Detroit could add another pick, maybe a 3rd, but I was hesitant. Wanted to feel it out first. As for the Russian forward over Broberg, I was initially going to take Broberg. But then I thought Yzerman and his Russians (Kucherov, Vasilevsky, Sergachev, Namestikov) would take Podkolzin and wait the 2 years out and hope hes the next Tarasenko or Panarin. Guess we'll find out tomorrow night.
