I don't think this is terrible. Barrie sounds like he's getting traded by the deadline anyways. We need a second line. Kerfoot has hit his ceiling, IMO. And instead of Turcotte/Bowen/Dach we take Cozens/Boldy/Caufield/Krebs. No one knows for sure whether the 4th pick is significantly better than the 10th pick - 2015 draft is a great example.

Yes, they do. Byram and Turcotte have far fewer questions about their potential than the players you just mentioned.

It's six spots, plus a replacement 2C and a mid-tier goalie prospect. Take Annunen out, sub in 16 OA and then I think it's more in the realm of value.

The Canucks aren't going to want to trade Horvat AND drop ten spots either. Horvat = Barrie, Kerfoot's rights and maybe a second for me.

Uh...for Bo Horvat it's worth it. Look at drafts 2014-2016 and you'll see that "they" don't always know. I wouldn't be surprised if we trade down tonight.

Just my opinion man. I could see them trading down from 16 OA, but at 4OA, I feel like they want Turcotte/Byram/Dach and that they'll want to stay there.
