Description

Dont' know that MTL would make this trade, and it seems like a lot for Calgary to give up. Which means value is probably not to far off.

The Min trade has been rumored for a while, so not a stretch it could happen. Stone could go anywhere for a 6th or 7th. I know he has a NTC, but there should be somewhere that will be a fit.

I get it, you wouldn't make that trade, which is fine. I'm not sure the Flames would either.

The thinking is Brodie is a #2 D who came off a 34 point season with a +29. And this was only his 4th most productive season in the league. He is in his prime and has a very reasonable cap hit. Kyl is a good prospect ready to step in now that is stuck behind a deep pool in Calgary. I like Gallagher a lot and think he has lots of value, but I don't think this trade is lopsided enough to warrant quoting Aerosmith over.

I'll just say Gallaghers point total was closer to Brodie than it was Tkachuks this last year. Not going to extend this any further.

Wild have no need to swap one left handed forward out for two when we're already overcrowded with them. Swap Frolik out for Derek Ryan and bump that pick going back to CGY down to the Wild's 4th and there might be decent interest there. What Ryan adds is a known quantity and would just be a subtle improvement over Eric Fehr and Bennett isn't exactly someone I'd be eager to get as a Wild fan, but maybe a scenery change would help him perform closer to what his potential was thought to be. Realistically, I'd rather just keep Zucker around.

YOOOO Gallagher is 30 goals scorer at 3.75M, brings leadership. Gallagher have more value than any players in a Habs jersey. Tkachuk vs Gallagher 1 on 1 is fair or Hanifin +++ vs Gallagher
