I like these trades but from an oilers perspective i am probably biased

I think the Leafs would do a trade like this if you do add the fringe player you mention. But the Leafs would have to get a 3C before they do it.

I agree, but we get a sure high end offensive D=man and a center who can replace RNH. I think it;s fair to all teams. We know what Hamilton is, and not sure maybe RNH can explode next season, but with 2 years each I think it's fair. Also, I think Kadri/Larsson is fair and Brown just evens it out IMHO.

You can have Gagner, Cave, or Brodziak for your 3rd center everyone wins
