Why would Nashville even consider this? Forsberg has consistently been one of if not their best forward the past 4 seasons.

this is very true, Nashville would not trade him. he has been the most consistent winger on that team

I think he's just trying to judge how Detroit fans value Mantha.

As a Toronto fan, who watches a decent amount of Detroit games who for some reason always play Toronto like it's the Stanley cup finals, I see Mantha as a decent second line option who needs some faster players that can get him the puck in tight. He could be soooooo much better if he was more consistent. That has always been his issue and one that honestly I never see fixing.

The last 8 games Detroit was able to get Bertuzzi - Larkin - Mantha back together on the same line and they had 18 goals in 8 games.
Bertuzzi (5-8-13), Larkin (5-6-11) and Mantha (8-7-15). Mantha carried that success over to the World Championships.

Here in Detroit CBC Channel is included with basic cable. Plus as long as I can remember we have been able to get CBC broadcast with just an antenna.
