as per Bob Mckenzie, Zaitsev will be moved once teams miss out on UFAs they were targeting. That will hopefully allow the leafs to trade him without having to add the "sweetener" people keep talking about.

With all that said the leafs still need to acquire at least two more defenceman before the start of the season, hopefully bring back Hainsey at a 1 x 1 deal then add a good penalty killing experienced RHD. I don't like the idea of trusting the young guys like Lij and sandin starting the season in the NHL
