Trading rust had to happen to sign the RFA's - Virtanen is a cheaper option who's shown somewhat of an offensive pulse and it's more wishful thinking than anything

The team I've created is significantly, SIGNIFICANTLY better than the one that's going to start the season in October. Will this happen? ANY OF THIS? No - because Rutherford doesn't enjoy thinking. If he thought about things, we wouldn't have JJ, EG OR a 3.5M per depth player in Tanev. We'd also still have Kessel.

Why are they nonsense? None of these are in favor of the penguins - They're dumping salary sure but they're also giving away basically all their drafting futures and ensuring they'll only be building via FA. They're also signing more team friendly short term deals. This is an Arm Chair GM post. Why are you even here if you're not here for that?
