I like the Brodie trade except they aren't going to do it. Pens management loves the righty/lefty configuration they have now. Not going to put a righty on the left.

Johnson trade is bad. Managment doesn't think he is a problem (and really he's not). They aren't going to give up assets just to move him.

Brodie is a LH Shot he just played on the right side to accommodate flames. And yeah unfortunately I can’t see them trading Johnson until maybe sometime during the year but it needs to happen. He is one of the worst players in the league and they will not win if he plays he just gets absolutely caved in.

Brodie is actually a left shot that typically plays the right side. So it wouldn't hurt the Left/Right balance assuming he wouldn't have a problem going to his natural side.

I stand corrected about Brodie.

You do realize the blues won with Robert bortuzzo, right? If a team can win with him, then a team can win with Johnson.
