- Really like the 1st trade, think it makes more sense for NJ with Gillies.
- If Brodie is traded to MTL at least 1 of Juulsen or Danault should be coming the other way.
- Neal wont play on the 2nd line unless we move Backlund down l, they have completely polar playstyles
- Tkachuk, and Rittich are underpaid here, Chucky will probably get 8M +/- 250K, Rittich will get at least the same as Talbot but not much more than 3M at most
- Quine can be demoted for more cap and we can probably bury Stone if someone overperformes him

- Thanks

- Brodie is being traded to Ottawa in my post but MTL is plausible too. I don't see him fetching a player like that plus picks. I loaded up on picks for the deadline.

- Good point on Neal, I think they start him in the top 6 though solely to give him a good last chance. (not that I entirely agree that should happen)

- Man you're being super critical saying they're underpaid and then claiming they'll make ~500k more.

- We don't have to bury players in the minors yet with the decent amount of cap space to start the season. Stone is a slow skater but we need D that can play PK well and as far as I know, he can. But I'm still not a huge fan of him.

Ah my mistake on the Brodie trade. IMO no way Ottawa does that, they are I full rebuild mode so they want as many early picks as possible. Trading away 2 2nds for a rental that wont want to stay there is super unrealistic
