Description

Rangers finesse their cap situation by the skin of their teeth by making a trade or two, executing the two expected buyouts. All this happens while simultaneously keeping Kreider, Buch, Lemieux, and Deangelo. They also find a way to add the highly coveted gusev to the mix. Idk if its just me but I like this lineup a lot. If hank bounces back you never know, they could go far come playoff time. Even if hank doesn't though, georgiev had a solid year last year and shesterkin could be on the roster soon as well.

Ik it will but with better picks in that trade it can be done. If a second round pick was added to it I think it seems pretty realistic.

Why in Gods name would Colorado make that trade? How does it help them?

probably more realistic for a team with more space to take on but this made sense to me because all the players in the trade are nearing the ends of their contracts.
