Makar, Timmins and Byram are unlikely to all be in. Maybe Byram gets 9 and down but I still think that's unlikely. Makar & Timmins maybe, depending on how Timmins is recovering from the concussion issues. Probably be Connauton or Barberio covering for Cole to begin with (or possibly even Graves). I like the Gusev trade, still unsure on Gusev's true value though. He's also another very small forward as well, and I can see the Avs getting knocked from pillar to post eventually by more physical teams. Sakic seems to be forgetting that the Avs that won cups had a seriously good D with some physical and some skilled (which they're getting close to although I'm not saying they'll be as good as Bourque, Blake, Foote et al), the arguably top goalie in the league, and a mix up front of fast, skilful players with some grit & sandpaper. He's getting close to missing the grit & sandpaper all together and even with the game getting faster, more skilful, and younger you're still gonna need some of it.
