i like eakins numbers but not sure why they would trade him with no internal player to take his place. also seems like a overpay for a 3rd line center on the final year of his contract. maybe if the pick was conditional of him signing a extension. unless they are planning on gambling on cody glass one of there other junior players making the jump.
