Self interest - Namestikov could help you, might be a good guy to play with Hughes at first (Jack will outgrow him pretty soon, I'd think). The Rangers cap situation isn't that bad. If they find a good match for Kreider before the season starts they won't trade Namestikov until the deadline. So if the devils think he's worth a 4th to them, dont worry about that.
