    as a Ranger fan I like this. but my thing is you wouldn't be able to keep Eberle and yakupov or hall or RNH in a big trade. one or 2 of those guys would have to go the other way in a Marc staal deal.

    Buddy what are you on? So three overpaid old declining players for 2 young top 6 wingers, one of which is elite (3 best 5 on 5 player over the last 5 years). Also that means they would have to expose Klefbom to expansion as Staal, Girardi and Sekera all have NTC.

    I'm sure as a rangers fan you love it, get out of 3 pricey contracts and actually get good players coming back, but I can assure you this would never be considered from the Oilers
