Personally I don't think Minny is interested in Russell for Rask as equal value. Rask should rebound at 26 to his usual 40 point pace. So add the 3rd onto that imo.

For Zucker, a guy who will reasonably score 30 goals beside McD, I think Minny wants a 1st. I wouldn't think the 2020 1st, that is too precarious. But bet on 2021 having the Oilers as a decent team with these changes. I mean if they aren't, I don't see McD wanting to buy into the system anymore if they still suck after 2021.

So see it as Pulju, Samorukov, Gagner and a 2021 1st for Zucker. Yes, a lot, but these combined make the Oilers much better and fit under the cap. It is overpay, but I still feel alright about the result for the good of the team. If it could get done with a 2nd instead of a 2021 1st, even better.
