The boring part of off-season is here and everyone waits.

I thought it would be funny if a GM out there started fireworks going by speeding up things and throwing offer sheets at people they don't mind NOT signing but to force GM's to get moving. lol. (Not over-payed contracts though.)
Offer a decent fair term at players and if they sign great, but chances are the team matches. And has to make other moves to make space.
So then go after another team and so on.

Every week offer a new player one. ha.

(Carlo is an example and term and value are not real. I have no idea what he's asking.)

i like carlo but he isn't worth the contract and the cost in picks in way too high. If he had any offense at all maybe but he doesn't.

that was just to put an offer on this page for an example. Detroit isn't doing anything else this off-season imo.
i would imagine a bridge deal for him at this point... but Boston would match.. and on to the next team to pressure into a move. throw an offer at Werenski and get Colombus to sign him up. Toss an offer a Marner and get them sweating. lol. The idea is to NOT sign them but to give us fans some excitement.

honestly I dont think boston would match, they'll take that what 3rd or 4th overall pick and and early third rounder. With 2 first rounders they can move backes and still have detroits first and cash

agreed in the case of Detroit. They need all their picks and some more. They will finish around the same as last year and hopefully be in the top 5 picks finally. (damn you New Jersey lol).
