4th line C?

Not sure if Chmelevski will make it, just wishful thinking that hes ready for the next step. Probably still needs 1 more year though.
Eklund liked this.

Reports coming out the DW has no interest in bringing him back.

True will probably occupy the 3RW spot unless Melker is moved.

I like Melker as a depth option who can fill in different spots when needed, I just can't imagine him full time next to Jumbo. Need someone who is going to be able to put the puck in the back of the net more often. If True can play wing, I'd much rather see what he brings to the table slotted next to Jumbo.

He's our most underhyped prospect but our most ready one as well. Great hands and plays a strong two-way game.

The only rookies that are really slam dunks to make it IMO are Gambrell and True, only because they've already played a lot in the AHL and were called up/in consideration already last year.

I'd have Chmelevski, Chekovich, and True in the lineup. Sink or swim, boys. Better develop and learn fast in the NHL. You got huge shoes to fill in Nyquist and Pavelski.

I think there will be a lot if shuffling early on between those guys, and also throw in Suomela and Brodzinski (wouldnt have signed him if they didnt feel he had something to bring to the table). I think Chmelevski is the least ready for a roster spot, but might be my favorite prospect of the bunch.

This training camp should start to determine who has a good shot at making the roster. Also, the first few games, there will be a lot of shuffling and trying out in the hopes chemistry forms. I actually think True makes it. He's a big boy. He also can play RW which is the weakest depth for a position that the Sharks have right now. True is my bet at cracking the roster.
