I think that Ottawa trade would have a good chance of happening simply because it saves Melnyk $200,000 in salary.

Yeah that's what I figured, plus all contracts are in their last year so it's not handcuff anyone. I think maybe I gave Ottawa a little bit too much haha

I think it’s pretty spot on...a contract swap between Pageau and Gagner plus Puljujarvi and Duclair is pretty even value wise.
