im a MTL fan and would love for this to be the return but WPG isn't looking for scraps and low tier prospects

a deal starts with one of our big prospects or Drouin I think

That’s a no from Jets. 1st and a pile of crap does not cut it. Going to take Domi and prospect/pick or Drouin plus a prospect and a pick just to get them to consider it.

Your comment of Jets not being able to get what he is worth is ridiculous. There will be 30 teams interested if he is on the market. They will get full value.

Montreal fan here, I would like to settle the whole Laine debate right now. Sure, if Winnipeg would accept a joke of a trade like this, then let's get Laine (also, he's not accepting that contract lol or he'd be under contract by now). However, if Montreal ends up mortgaging their entire future in a trade, I would rather it be for a stud defenseman than an inconsistent (albeit potentially generational) goal-scorer.
