I thought DET was pretty high on Helm, I'd think it would take a little more than this to get him, no ? I'm honestly not totally sure about his trade value though so I may just sound stupid rn

He is turning 33 this year, i think that getting two younger players on a one year deal is
Ideal for detroit with the rebuilt they would have a few more millions two work with for free agency next season

I honestly didn’t think other fan bases saw Helm as a top 6 guy. I like him a lot as a bottom 6 forward. Works his bag off, good on the forecheck and below the goal lines / on the wall.. but his skill level is really low. I don’t think he would be effective in consistently playing in a top 6.
