i'll bet anybody any amount of money that ty ronning and sean day do NOT play 1 NHL game. i go to hartford wolfpack games often and watch almost all their games online. they both aren't even good minor league players. I don't mean to sound like a hater, just calling it like it is. I would give the edge for Day over Ronning but neither have been good.

Didn't Quinn make a comment saying he thinks Lemieux is going to be a top 6 player? thats probably a reach but i def think Lemieux is in the rangers long term plans regardless of this 1 year contract.

Both of them will most likely play full seasons with Hartford at this point, so let them have an entire year oh AHL hockey before we call them complete busts

I don't remember hearing that, however I can easily see him being a top 9 forward. He needs to play with an edge but cut down on his penalties.

In order for Ronning to become an NHL player he'll need to crack one of the top 2 lines. he isn't a solid 2 way forward. The way he played last season i wouldn't say he would make a good top 6 AHL player. just my observation from watching him play last season and a couple games the season before.

Day looks like a pro physically. i read and hear about his talent and puck skills. i just didn't see much of it. the guy is a horrible defender. he is an offensive defensemen who isn't a pp quarterback. i never seen him win 1 puck battle or give anyone a good hit. he plays so soft. looks good with the puck on his stick but I've seen dozens of kids with those abilities in the minors and never end up playing in the NHL i see him becoming an average AHL player.
