Overvaluing players?? Talk about overvaluing draft picks my goodness. Especially if theyre getting Pasta back, those are going to be LATE first rounders, and Pasta is a proven commodity. NHL GMs are pussies in terms of trading away draft picks because they think they are going to find the next big guy, but the chances of that are highly unlikely with the scrutiny the prospects go through these days. Pasta is a star on a steal of a contract who would help put the sharks over the top to get their long awaited cup while they have Labanc on a steal contract, Meier on a bridge, Karlsson and Burns in their primes, need I go on? If Im Doug Wilson I take that trade in a heartbeat! You put Pasta next to Hertl and Couture and hes gonna be a Hart Trophy candidate for the next 5 years. No chance this is overvaluing Pasta
