Salary Cap Mode: Basic

Description

Toronto needs cap space and cheap NHL RD.
Minny could keep Kapanen as much needed young RW but D core would lose depth. -> Trade to Faulk.
Carolina has plenty of LW so Minny would need to trade Kapanen RW. CAR could get much needed cap space.
Needed RW/C could be obtained from Canadiens (Suzuki). This would allow space in top lines for younger talents such as Fiala.
Rask with retained salary could add depth for Ottawa's C.
If.. Minny would get into playoff race there would be plenty of cap for potential free agents.

No thanks from MTL... Suzuki will start the year in MTL.
Zucker +1st for Suzuki would be the right value... but still a NO
