No he won't, he'll get paid plenty, he knows that. He wants to win. He will take less to be on a competitive team for most of the time he signs for. Can he make the stupid money while doing so, sure, if some team pays him that. The point is he needs a winner more than $2-3M more a year. He's basically said it in interviews.

More money to stay because we suck.
So less money to invest to make the team better. Seems counter to what the thinking should be for Hall.
