Dubas is going to bed and praying that Kaskisuo can be somewhat serviceable. External options at this point are very limited and they'll most certainly have to overpay to get anyone that's an upgrade from KK. Honestly, Kaskisuo has earned his shot, Hutchinson being waived obviously wouldn't have happened if his play was better, but it wouldn't have happened if Kaskisuo wasn't having a great start in the AHL. I know his regular season numbers from last year weren't great, but he started over Hutchinson during the Marlies playoff run last year and obviously played really well.

Instead.... anyone, literally anyone.

Kaskisuo, give him a try couldn’t hurt.

Peterson, desmith, thatcher, stalock, domingue, Miller or georgiev.

I agree that Kaskisuo has earned his shot, but so had Garrett Sparks, and that didn't turn out great. What I think we need is a former starting goalie who would be willing to take a backup role now. Just don't know how we could afford it.
