Wings dont want Smith or Strome. If Strome is this almost point per game player then why are you trading him for AA, cause you know he's likely to regress next season? i don't get it. He wouldnt fit into the wings timeline to win, trade just doesnt make since for wings rebuild.

You're way over rating Athanasiou, who's been a minus player every year in the league and Daley is in his late 30's with a big contract. Strome (unlike Athanasiou) was a top draft pick and has played up to his talent ever since being liberated from Edmonton. Why would you want to trade a point per game solid two way centre for a struggling winger who's not good enough on defence to play centre?

If you want Meier the conversation starts with Kravstov and a 1st. The conversation ends abruptly when you insert Trevor Daley.

I’m sure a $3M expiring cap dump to even salary is killer in this deal....

Point is you aren’t getting Meier for that crap deal.

Doesn't matter if we are overating him or not, still not doing this deal, strome makes no sense to me and Daley is off of the books after this year. Rangers will have to dip into the prospects and picks. 2nd in 2020 and good prospect is where wings accept a deal, if not, no problem we keep RFA AA and move on.

Wouldn’t do that trade straight up. Draft is stacked. Meier has been playing poorly. Bad timing for a trade.

Well sharks cant really afford to downgrade to Buch and only get a 25th-31st pick for it

Elmer is an ECHL player, Rykov is alright I guess but underpermorning LHD is not a need for the sharks at all. Lindbom has posted a .904 in the swedish second league, not exactly very good, unlikely he ever makes the jump over.

He’s most definitely not underperforming

Why has he been scratched for half his games?
