Cap Hit is $68,244,643 with Helegson, Loov, Pokka, Subban, Hudon, and Di Giuseppe in the AHL

I went thru the protection process 3 times and came up with this. The forwards available are horrible. A more likely scenario is Vegas takes some more prospects/young players(specifically forwards) and spend in free agency to bulk up up front. Notable FA forwards will be Marleau, Thorton, Sharp, Steen, Marchand, Oshie, etc. This team really needs a top line centre. Going thru the selectijon process there are a lot of younf quality dmen available. Maybe a draft and trade is a likely event.

I wouldn't be surprised if they take a risk on yak instead of Davidson but u it would be better long run to take Davidson

I'm kinda predicting that yak improves with a full year of mcdavid. even if Davidson maintains his level of play what is he? a 5th Dman?
