I’m sorry but zucker has 27 points and danault has 36. I wouldn’t even trade lehkonen for zucker one for one

by upgrade you mean lateral move the fans will revolt against?

ask yourself this how well has MTL done developing its late 1st rounders?
All bust's in the past decade right outside Poehling ?

so you're saying trade Gallagher as if its a sure thing . . .

Gallagher a 30 goal scorer gets you minimum the Pacioretty career low deal if not more .
Give me a Fiala ,Khovanov and a 2nd
Sold

Leave everyone else out of it
Fiala has potential in our system with his style
Khovanov plays in Moncton where im from and he's Mats Naslund 2.0 with sick hands and pro level skating
MTL does well with 2nd's so this will become a Romanov ,Brook or Ylonen.

Explain how we’re upgrading by trading for a guy who’s doing worse this year

Because imo zucker is a more complete forward

I see what you mean but I’m still taking a guy that could put up 50-60 points and 30-35 goals rather than zucker who struggled last year and isn’t doing much better this year

i'm confused are you suggesting Gallagher is not
or is it Danault you're taking a shot at?

Zuckers 28 and had 1 good year followed by back to his old comfort zone
Ghostisbhere is going through this in PHI to .

it we were trading Kovalev ,ikonen and a 2nd I'd take Zucker but otherwise I don't think i'd bother .
if we were not rebuilding and he was not 28 maybe we'd move out the most popular habs of the decade but for a good return
