Assuming Gallagher is healthy, MTL's top line of Tatar-Danault-Gallagher have a total cap hit under 12M, are 11th 37th and 18th at their respective positions in pts/gm this season (min. 25 games played since most teams are getting to around the 50 played mark) according to this site and all of them have another year on their deals after so they aren't just rentals for one run. What teams would be interested in acquiring this line and what kind of package would they be willing to give up for it?
I think Dallas might be a team that would be interest, since they are bottom 5 in GF but best in the league in GA. The Danault line is solid defensively so shouldn't be out of place in Dallas, and since it would be the whole line chemistry wouldn't be a big issue although adjusting to the new system might be one, but that's always a risk when making trades or signings.
