The guy must get fired... so many bad contracts aboard that ship... Jones, Vlasic, Burns, EK, Couture...

He's been a good GM but he needs to go for SJ's sake

The core of this team for the future has to be Couture, Hertl, Labanc and Meier and the unmovable Burns, Kane, Karlsson and Vlasic. The bottom six can be more or less interchangeable parts and like it or not, the defense is set for the immediate future (Ferraro and Simek seem competent). So the focus has to be on acquiring two forwards to fill out the top 6 and getting an actual goaltender.

Galchenyuk and Fast are bright ideas for the former and I like the thought of adding Reimer.
