Both players fit their team perfectly and are future of their team. I love both of them and both are gonna be top pairing Dmen. No point in trading them for each other tbh.

what about the NYR need at LHD and Leafs at RHD?

Rangers have KAndre Miller, Ryan Lindgren, Zach Jones, Yegor Rykov along current Brady Skjei who is just 25yo developing on left side. I dont think there is a need there. And Leafs might need right shot D, but they have one developing and somebody else possibly longterm option coming in in next couple of weeks via trade. They are working on something big I have a feeling.
