That's an opinion piece. Wouldn't put too much stock into it.

There are a bunch of depth forwards available, it doesn't make sense to give up a pick in the first 3 rounds for a guy who is so one dimensional. He's a good PK guy, but there are plenty of those guys who bring more to the table.

Colorado is struggling with their pk so what better way to fix that then by getting a cheap player who plays on the best penalty kill in the league. he's got more points than Tynan and is more reliable than Kaut. also, keep in mind that this article was written before all these teams started getting great returns for all these players.
