Description

A look at the top 3 lines in my opinion if the Wild were to acquire Nugent Hopkins. This is without Pouliot to the rumored trade and the money still doesn't work. As much as I'd love Nugent Hopkins as the top line center, unfortunately I don't think it can work. This is with a 23 man opening night roster without signing any free agents, just using pieces within. As you can see the 4th line is very weak as are the extra forwards. Unless EDM were to accept Pominville in the deal it can't work.

I agree.. With Nino, Haula and Grandlund needing contracts this wont work

I think Granlund would be have traded for a bag of pucks before the season started, and Tuch makes the roster. Staal as a wing didn't work so well for NYR.
