It is a tricky one. I don't know too much about the details but I believe Florida and trochek were standing on their last legs. It is better to trade him away before anything leaks and his trade value plummets. It's hard to replace him and strange that they did it whilst only 2 points out of the playoffs. But at least they were able to get some nice assets for him
