I think seriously that Torts will say just the opposite. This lineup is NOTHING until you go out there and show them how scary good you are.

I like to dream that they will light it up, charge out of the gate, lay waste to the other teams by Thanksgiving, and Bob is the Bob of old, and Foligno will find his voice, and Bjorkstrand will win rookie of the year honors, and they will find a waste receptacle large enough for the Clarkson contract. But I then wake up and realize it is just too dangerous to dream these things.

Well Bill, Sam Gagner is a good player but only in the right system. Our system is a fit, and that is a reason I think highly of him.

Last year, we basically forgot that we had no defense and were relying on Bourque to be a real contributor. Different story this year. Bjorkstrand brings in some real optimistic expectations. Korpisalo and Forsberg give give Bob a chance to not carry the load.

Ok, thanks for the pep talk, I feel a lot better now. Agree defense needs to step up. Here is hoping we have like 3 rookies pushing each other for the Calder trophy.
