Can someone please fill me in on Carr. Why does it seem like he is on every 2nd-3rd line armchair Montreal roster? He does net 20 a year in semi pro but other than that his points aren't the greatest. I didn't get the chance to watch him play with the habs so I can't make a prominent opinion on the guy other than what I read for scouting reports & previous stats. If the habs want to win a cup within the next couple years they obviously need a reliable top 6 LW & it doesn't take a genius to figure that out. Unless this guy turns out to be a Panarin then MB should make some moves. IMO

Carr at second line no, but on third line yes. He played well last year. And I think he could have a good chemistry with Shaw and Ghetto and all three of them could run for 25 - 35 points each.

Second line is Hudler.

This Fowler trade would be fantastic for Montreal. Adding a top 4 d. There is even no need for Anaheim to send us the 3 round pick.

Carr is an undrafted college prospect, he's a little bit older than our other prospects, 24 I believe, don't quote me. Last year he seemed to have a knack for scoring gritty goals in times of need. To be honest, Hudon and Lehkonen both have a higher ceiling and potential to be top 6, I peg Carr as a solid 3rd line player. He plays like Gallagher, except hes bigger (6'0") and probably less annoying to play against. Good, smart finisher who goes to the front of the net, can play defense. On that note, I would think Hudon would swap with Carr if he shows he is ready.
