You realise Carolina don't NEED Laine yet WPG NEED defenders? It's gonna come as a shock to you when Laine is traded for next to nothing, look for someone else to rip off. Laine is a waste of talent anyway.

wasn't the one who made the trade and dont agree with it, carolina is stacked on fowards, the tread starter just wanted to see how the reunited 2016 finish top line would look, trade not serious in any way (though some people somehow took offense at different trades neutral fans were proposing aka non hurricane and jets fans meaning they weren't biased like someone here

jets need defenders yeah agreed but dont really have room, all pretty young oldest is 26
left shot 2nd pairing is pretty questionable though but dont want long term fix there, rather have it on center

disagreed on the laine delima, everyone has their own options so i'll give mine
1st year he was great, 2nd year he took a step up, 3rd year he was insanely good but went completely cold for the 2nd half
but he rebounded nicely and played his best hockey this season... actually became a decent 2 way player, his scoring took a hit but will rebound but he proved over and over he got an insane shot so nothing to worry about.... not to mention the jets dont have a decent center to play with him..... the top goal scorers all have good centers through their careers... gotta be a reason for that
