- Substitute Juolevi with any other waiver exempt young d-man in the system throughout the season
- the buyout can be either Beagle or Helm take you pick.
- the Red Wings in the deal get a solid G plus a defensive prospect and picks for taking on salary which they could hold for the time being.
- all of this assuming the cap stays flat next year

Depth. This past season he's been relegated to a healthy scratch the odd night... I'd use him more as a 6-7 D with Benn coming in and out from time to time. Probably should've put Gudas above Benn on the chart. Also a decent insurance policy if they don't like what they get out of Juolevi, or for the eventual Edler & Tanev injuries.

Of course this only works if Gudas takes a pay cut... imo it's only worth it in this scenario if he signs for this much.. if not go re-sign Fantenberg or something in that price range
