Extensions

Created by: CaptainFlynnt

Initial Creation Date: Apr. 25, 2020
Published: Apr. 25, 2020

Description
Just showing that the contract extensions of the other team "Realistic 2020-21" would work. I moved on from Lehkonen and gave Hudon a chance assuming him and KK have good chemistry from Laval.

Habs could trade Domi, Drouin, or Tatar for cap space or whatever. Alzner could be bought out also if the team needs more cap space.

Most of Caufield, Poehling, Primeau, and Ylönen would probably be in the NHL. And maybe Norlinder. I don’t see why we would sign Simmonds.

See the original post, this is just to prove that these extensions would work under the cap. I'm not projecting a lineup here.. its I.possible tondo that 2 years ahead, it's hard enough to do it for opening night of next year.

Edit:
Simmonds is reasonable depth. He has size, he would stick up for teammates and he can play. He could honestly fit in well with Domi, Domi does good with guys who go to the net like Shaw and Cousins.

Makes sense. Although in reality, I don’t think we would resign Simmonds or Lindgren because of Caufield/whoever and Primeau.
