Not really overestimating Kappy; he is what he is, it's just a bad deal. Khaira is bad, adds absolutely no value to the Leafs in this trade. Puljujarvi is very much a maybe. I wouldn't turn my nose up at him by any means, but he's a reclamation project. Benning is a 3rd pair guy. He's been fine in that role, but he's going to make $2m and that's too much for the Leafs to be paying a bottom pair guy. I'm just not trading Kappy when the main piece is a 3rd pair D making $2m; I don't even consider it.
