A few of things: 1) The Wild would have the biggest, longest group of centers manning the middle of the ice in NHL history - I like it! 2) I don't see Ek playing a 4th line role for the Wild. He will either make the team in a top 9 capacity or play in Iowa or back in Sweden. He's going to be a stud and the Wild need to get him as much ice time and in as many big situations as possible. 3) The trade. I love it! It certainly looks reasonable to me. Scandella, a do-it-all defenseman who can play on any pairing, as needed, and Zucker might be a replacement for Jagr if he ever does hang up the skates. The Wild get a big, looong, mobile body who can play center or wing and can score and a decent/reliable (oft-injured) 6th/7th defenseman who can rotate with Folin and Prosser to see which player grabs the 6th spot on the blue line. However,I would much rather have Petrovic than Pysyk because he would add a lot of the sandpaper the Wild desperately need...especially if losing Scandella.

Overall, I would be very happy with these moves and this roster.
