I think tbh the Miller trade was the best

Miller also has a 41 pt season in his resume, which led all Knights defensemen. It took Dermott 3 seasons to reach 41 pts.
This is an easy no IMO, no matter what the Leaf fans may think the difference between a needed RHD and Dermott is much more than CGY's 5th round pick.
Let me add. all of Buffalo's RHD defensemen stats were depressed as they had 4 solid NHL quality defensemen splitting ice time as he played fewer minutes than any of the 4.
