I propose to you an analysis of your favorite team...

You need to include:

-your favorite team's strength
-its weakness
-how you would try to fix the weakness without affecting too much the strength
-a CBO is allowed (but not mandatory)
-a flat cap
-coaches can be fired

Copy this so that others can see this idea to keep us entertained a bit until real hockey (hopefully) comes back.

I'll start:

-our strength: just everything related to youth, speed, and offense. Youth here means Fox, ADA, Lindgren, Shesterkin, Georgiev, Kakko (yes I know what you are thinking) and Chytil. Offense here means Panarin, Kreider, Zibanejad, ADA and Fox. Speed means all of the above (except the goalie) with also guys like Buchnevich and Gauthier.

-our weakness: the defensive structure. We allow way too many shots per game. The first thing here is to get Smith ans Staal out of the lineup ASAP, they're awful. Howden is also a problem, he's our worst forward at defending, and when a guy like that is playing on the 4th line, it's a major issue.

-how to fix it: trade Strome to DAL for Oleksiak and Faksa along with a mid pick. Sign J.Larsson who currently plays in BUF. Trade Howden for scraps, scratch Staal and Smith and fire Lindy Ruff. Bring K'Andre Miller in the NHL to replace Smith or Staal.
