Im thinking they bring in Gibbons as well in case of injury. Geekie would probably sub in if someone is lacking.

And Obvs Ned as the backup if someone goes down.

That D core is very wrong. Having Gardiner and Vatanen on the same pairing is asking for trouble.

As for the callups, I don't actually see a reason to keep Geekie out of the lineup. He's a right hand shot, he's a big body and has won the Calder, so he's used to deep playoff runs.

Because we saw Slavin without Hamilton put up BETTER isolated stats lmao. Putting him with Vatanen allows him to actually protect someone that needs it.

I didn't say that, I'm just saying... Hamilton is a great D man, but Vatanen needs a babysitter, and as much as this would hinder Hamilton, it would help Vatanen more
