God I wish. Although Saad would be most effective on the first line with Jumbo and Marleau plays LW. Karlsson succeeds there because a forechecking go to the net guy is what that line needs. That's why Burns was so bloody effective there. But Saad would be HUGE

Tierney did so well down the stretch as 3C and Hertl played well on his LW with either Nieto or Wingels on RW

Seth Jones plays Right side, Sekera left side. And yes it matters. History has shown a huge decline in Jones game when forced to the left side(Which they did to accomodate Franson's Right hand shot).

Pairings would be better as
Vlasic/Jones(I know the idea is to have Burns with Vlasic, but this pairing would get put against top competition a lot. Do you really want Burns vs top competition???)
Sekera/Burns. (Sekera is a great two way guy with a decent shot and very good quarterback pass to feed a triggerman)
Dillon/Braun (Better than bottom pairing, but coaches tend to roll lines evenly these days)

Yeah I wanted Melker as the forechecker for Jumbo, he needs an F1 to do the dirty work for him, like you said about Burns. Sharks could also offersheet Toffoli at like $7.2 million if Dillon gets closer to like $2 million (more realistic, but I put $3.5 to be very conservative).

Tierney did really well at 3C, but I just think Hertl needs to play C for future needs and he seemed more engaged while he was at C. I'm sure that Wingels could play on the fourth line and have Hertl/Tierney play center depending on various things.

Yeah I accidentally mixed up the sides for them, with the guys being on the right sides it works no problem so no one is playing their off side.

I love those d-pairings as well, just having that crazy depth would make the Sharks an instant Stanley Cup contender. Braun is a #3 in the NHL, maybe a low end #2 if he bounces back from a somewhat rough last season, and he's on the "3rd pairing". Nowadays the d pairs are rolled pretty evenly and I'd be very confident in all 3 pairs being out there in any situation.
