No thanks from Edmonton. We need Nuge for our forward group, and we don’t need DeAngelo with Bear, Bouchard, Larsson etc on our right side. I wouldn’t mind Georgiev but not at that price.

Value is interesting in the RNH trade. He is still a vital and versatile piece for the Oilers. If one were viewing his re-signing in Edmonton as something to be questioned then I would have some time for this trade (although maybe Matthew Robertson instead on D, or a forward prospect, as D depth is already strong). But I think he re-signs, so a no go on this one.

I think this trade would be very hard for Holland to turn down. In the end if RNH told the Oilers that he was definitely extending then I think the deal would be dead.
