NYR don't want Staal either. Also we don't need any more LHD, so we don't want Scandella.

If Fletcher pulled off these trades I can.think of 3 gms who's jobs are going to be on the line for terrible asset management

The trades weren't meant to be completely equitable...just getting rid of players I don't like (except Scandella...I do like him) to acquire players I covet. As far as Staal is concerned...the Rangers were just a placeholder - could have been any team. And the Zibanejad trade - just view that as the Wild acquired him from Ottawa...not actually the Rags.
