Pretty sure the buyout window opens right before the expansion draft. The expansion draft is the 18th-20th of June, and the buyout window is June 15th.

Also: I don't think any of the other trades are necessary. Maybe Nichushkin, but why swap Kreider and Smith for Skinner? I'd rather have depth than a stacked top line. Besides, I don't think Buch is ready for 2nd line responsibilities, and Miller is too good for the 3rd line.

Oh don't get me wrong, Fowler <strong>isn't</strong> worth that return. I'm totally in acceptance of that. Its just you made it sound like he wasn't worth a 3rd rounder. Which pretty much every over the top stat junkie likes to do. Not everything is quantifiable through CF% and possession. With that said, you got some people on the other side of the spectrum who still think Stempniak is a top line player because he scored 50+ pts last year.......</i></div></div>

Eh, I wouldn't say NYR NEED to dump Nash, they're just trying to trim excess. He's very important to our entire team. He logs plenty of 5v5, PK, and PP time, and does all of them very well. That being said, I think the Ranger would be more than willing to move him, with salary retained even, for some picks and prospects.

I personally would like Pysyk, but you guys literally JUST acquired him from BUF so I doubt he goes anywhere.

That being said, I think a 2nd and a 3rd is a big underpayment for him.
